This TV fit the bill at a great price. I bought this TV to focus and position Security cameras and it did not disappoint in this respect.A few observations: #1 It is not the color pictured in the Amazon description, it is all black, a bonus for me. #2 It actually comes with a little remote, as if you were going to be sitting far away from a 7" screen... #3 The battery life is a little over 4 hours per full charge. Pretty good for a TV like this and more than I was expecting. #4 The battery is a non standard type and not serviceable by an average user. #5 The av input works as it should. #6 The TV has a built in channel scanner that can differentiate between air and cable reception. An unexpected bonus that I could hook this up to cable. #7 To the person that thought you could use this TV in a moving vehicle. You can't use ANY TV with a baby antenna in a moving... It arrived on time and and was packed in very nice box. I charged it up and scanned for TV stations. It got all but one of the stations in my area, It has a very good picture.I let it run and got 2 hours of run time before the battery warning came on.I mounted a threaded insert from the hardware store so I could mount a hot shoe adapter on it so it can be used as a monitor for my Canon T3i. As I received this item, I set it up and connected the antenna it came with on the side of the tv..and plugged it and turn it on.. First you need to program scanned the channel which took about two minutes. Once that's done I searched for station.. It was very nice but the problem was the digital air waves channels were breaking up in squares.. Realized it was the crappy antenna it came with..decided to purchased a portable antenna for this type of tv..as soon as I received it thru amazon, hooked it up and the tv works great....I gave it only 3 stars because when I compared it with my friend's 9 inch Philip tv, the philip tv had a better resolution , much clearer and almost like dtv than this one...if its not a hassle returning by mail, I would get the 9 inch Philip instead despite the $30 more difference in price.. |
